Which Documents You Need to Submit Online?

For students who will be apply for Associate and Undergraduate Degree:
  • High school diploma (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
  • High school transcript (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
  • Photocopy of the relevant pages of your passport
  • Passport-size photograph
  • TOEFL score (79)
(If student does not have TOEFL or TOMER Certificate then they can give Proficiency Exam within the University)

For students who will be apply for Master Degree:
  • Undergraduate diploma (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
  • Undergraduate transcript (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
  • Photocopy of the relevant pages of your passport
  • Passport-size photograph
  • TOEFL score
(If student does not have TOEFL or TOMER Certificate then they can give Proficiency Exam within the University)

For students who will be apply for PhD degree:
  • Undergraduate and graduate diploma (if not in English, a copy translated to Turkish or English)
  • Undergraduate and graduate transcript (if not in English, a copy translated to Turkish or English)
  • Photocopy of the relevant pages of your passport
  • Language proficiency score in one of these languages: English, French or German.
    • TOEFL (84) if medium of instruction of degree is English
    • TOEFL (66) if medium of instruction of degree is Turkish
  • 6 passport photographs


How to get the visa

After submitting your online application form you will receive an Acceptance Letter and then contact nearest Turkish Embassy in your country for details on visa process.

Those students coming from countries, which do not need visa to enter Turkey, do not need to get the student visa as well.


Documents Required to Finalize the Registration

For students who will be applying for Associate and Undergraduate Program:
  • Acceptance Letter received from Istanbul Aydin University
  • Turkish translation of High school diploma and transcript
  • Notarization of translated High school diploma and transcript from Notary in Turkey or Turkish Embassy in your country
  • Health Insurance for one year (compulsory - You will make your insurance paperwork in J Block with International Students and Staff Affairs. Insurance Costs between 400,00 to 600,00 TRL)
  • Language proficiency certificate
    • For English degree program applicants: TOEFL score -79 points (if English is not first/ official language of the country). If students do not have TOEFL then he/ she has to qualify English Proficiency Exam, which will be held in IAU. Dates will be mentioned at http://int.aydin.edu.tr.
    • For Turkish degree program applicants: TOMER score – B1 level
For students who will be applying for Master Degree:

For students who will be applying for PhD degree

Things to Remember

  • Students cannot change the course mentioned on the Acceptance Letter after arriving the university
  • Tuition fee will be refunded on certain conditions:
    • Student could not get the visa
    • Tuition fee will not be refunded if student will get the visa and will not arrive the university
    • Student should apply for refund immediately with in one month of end of final registration period (in case of visa rejection)
  • Tuition Fee will not be refunded in case of cancelation of Registration
  • Student visa for degree will not be accepted to TÖMER (Turkish Language) program so apply directly to the program you are interested in.
  • Student fee will not be transferred to any other student Account


How to get the Resident Permit?

Students need to apply for Resident Permit within 10 days after arriving Turkey.

For Students of Turkish Degree Program who do not know Turkish and will study the Turkish Language Program they should apply directly for TÖMER and should get the TÖMER visa as they cannot get the resident permit without having TÖMER visa.

Following are the requirements for getting the Resident Permit
  • Valid appointment document from the Turkish Residency department for foreigners

  • Student Letter from the university (Öğrenci Belgesi)
  • Health Insurance for one year (compulsory)
  • 4 passport photographs
After arriving Turkey, please visit us at Istanbul Aydin University - International Student Office (Florya Campus, J block ground floor) and we will assist you in final registration and resident permit process.

Istanbul Aydin University do not have dormitories of its own so students need to arrange accommodation on their own before coming to Turkey from the link below or they can contact IAU International Students and Affairs Office who also help foreign students in getting accommodation:
